Reparatory Communions on the First Friday of the Month

The twelfth promise was included in its entirety in the Bull of Canonization of Saint Margaret Mary on May 13, 1920, by Pope Benedict XV. He thus wished to encourage the practice of reparatory communions on the first nine Fridays of the month, in honor of the Sacred Heart.
